A Comprehensive, Integrative Approach to Healing

Amend combines evidence-based therapies with innovative and holistic modalities to support emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual healing. Clients may engage in advanced treatments such as ketamine-assisted therapy and deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (Deep TMS), alongside restorative practices including massage, meditation, and somatic therapies. Experiential options—such as art therapy, sound healing, music therapy, equine therapy, dance and movement therapy, and personalized fitness training—help clients reconnect with both body and mind in meaningful ways.

Experienced Clinicians, Individualized Attention

Care at Amend is delivered by a highly experienced multidisciplinary team that includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, licensed therapists, nurses, a nutritionist, fitness coach, acupuncturist, and dedicated support staff. Each client is supported by three primary clinicians and receives up to five individual therapy sessions per week, along with regular psychiatric care. This intensive, coordinated approach allows the team to address the deeper, often unseen drivers of mental health and substance-related challenges.

A Private Coastal Setting for Focused Healing

Amend Portshead House provides a serene, home-like environment free from outside distractions. Each private bedroom opens onto a patio or veranda, offering space for reflection, journaling, or quiet time outdoors. Shared living areas and dining spaces feature views of the surrounding grounds and nearby ocean, creating a calming atmosphere throughout the home. An in-house chef prepares nourishing meals, while personal trainers support individualized fitness and wellness goals.

Thoughtful Aftercare for Long-Term Success

As treatment progresses, Amend’s aftercare coordinator works closely with each client and their clinical team to design a customized transition plan.
