For more than 20 years, Harmony Place has provided comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, offering high-quality care that remains accessible and cost-effective. The program delivers a full continuum of services, including same-day admission for medically supervised detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Detox services are supported by 24/7 licensed nursing care and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate, ensuring a safe and stable foundation for recovery.
Harmony Place takes a balanced, holistic approach to recovery—focusing on each individual’s strengths and potential rather than diagnosis alone. Treatment plans integrate evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), alongside complementary practices including yoga, acupuncture, and massage therapy to support mind–body healing. Clients receive highly personalized care, including three individual therapy sessions per week, group therapy, couples and family counseling, and structured relapse prevention education. A multidisciplinary team of licensed physicians, psychiatrists, and therapists ensures comprehensive, coordinated care throughout treatment.
Recovery at Harmony Place extends well beyond discharge. Graduates are invited to participate in weekly on-site alumni meetings, virtual aftercare groups, and community-based social events that promote connection and accountability. Alumni also have opportunities to mentor current residential and outpatient clients, fostering purpose and shared growth across all stages of recovery. Through private online communities, sober activities, and mentorship programs, Harmony Place helps clients maintain sobriety and remain engaged in a supportive recovery network.
Nestled on a private, tree-lined street in the San Fernando Valley, Harmony Place offers a comfortable, residential environment designed to support healing. Each residence accommodates up to 12 clients, with gender-specific sleeping quarters and shared treatment and recreational spaces. Clients enjoy chef-prepared gourmet meals, access to a fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub, and a tranquil rose garden featuring a unique treehouse. Weekly wellness activities—such as yoga, massage, acupuncture, and outdoor adventure outings—combined with inviting outdoor lounges and nature access, create a restorative atmosphere that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.
