Founded in 2005 by a technology entrepreneur and a trauma-focused clinician, Red Door Life treats substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions from a gated estate in Bel Air. Care runs across three levels: medical detox, residential treatment, and virtual outpatient support, so clients can step down without changing providers. Rather than a fixed program length, treatment plans are built around each client's own history and pace of recovery.
Clinical care here is paired with a holistic model the center calls its "12 Dimensions of Human Health and Wellness," bringing therapies like reiki, massage, acupuncture, and ketamine-assisted therapy alongside evidence-based treatment. The goal isn't just stabilization, it's addressing mind, body, and spirit as one continuum of care.
The gated property is designed for privacy and calm: private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a recreation room, outdoor pool, hot tub, and lounge areas built for reflection as much as downtime. An onsite fitness center, including a Peloton setup, supports physical recovery, and meals are chef-prepared and tailored to individual dietary needs.
Red Door Life is accredited by The Joint Commission and accepts out-of-network insurance, giving clients access to a high standard of care without being limited to in-network providers.
Red Door Life's treatment focuses on substance use disorders, with particular emphasis on opioid and alcohol dependency alongside co-occurring mental health conditions.
