ons. Believing that recovery is a highly personal journey, Maui Recovery provides individualized treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs. With only eight beds overlooking the ocean and amenities such as surf therapy, equine therapy, and guided adventure excursions, the program combines comfort, healing, and exploration. Kama’aina clients also benefit from discounted treatment rates.

Comprehensive Therapies for Lasting Change

Maui Recovery blends evidence-based approaches with powerful experiential therapies. Clinical methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction provide proven strategies for overcoming addiction. Each client receives two hours of one-on-one counseling weekly, complemented by extensive group sessions. Experiential offerings, from outdoor adventures to IV vitamin and hydration therapy, foster self-discovery and renewal. Spiritual consulting with a Hawaiian Kahuna (shaman) deepens the experience, while alumni staff provide a supportive, understanding environment.

As clients prepare to return to daily life, Maui Recovery ensures they are equipped with personalized roadmaps for ongoing success. Aftercare may include support groups, continued contact with the clinical team, assistance with substance-free housing, medication management, and educational or career support. These resources help clients carry forward the resilience and insight gained during treatment.

A Luxurious Space for Reflection and Renewal

Maui Recovery’s two-home, eight-bed facility feels more like a private retreat than a treatment center. Spacious suites feature queen or king beds, with most including en suite bathrooms. Expansive living areas, open floor plans, and sliding glass doors to lanais with sweeping ocean views create an atmosphere of privacy and peace. Clients enjoy catered meals, a game room with ping pong and foosball, and the chance to relax by the pool in reclining chairs—an environment that fosters comfort, reflection, and growth.
