Polaris Teen Center is a residential mental health and substance abuse treatment program for adolescents, offering a safe, structured environment for teens struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-harm, eating disorders, and substance use. Polaris takes a whole-person, family-centered approach, recognizing that teen mental health challenges often stem from trauma, biological factors, and home environments. Family involvement is a core part of treatment, supporting long-term healing and stability.
Polaris delivers evidence-based teen therapy, including CBT, DBT, ACT, family systems therapy, post-induction therapy, and psychoeducational groups, alongside experiential therapies such as surf therapy, yoga, brain spotting, mindfulness, martial arts, somatic experiencing, art therapy, hiking, and swimming. Care is led by a highly credentialed clinical and medical team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatric specialists, and licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, AMFT).
Polaris operates two private residential homes in Tarzana, California—East Tarzana and West Tarzana—both offering gated privacy, shared bedrooms, spacious living areas, and upscale amenities. Residences feature on-site private chefs, outdoor spaces, pools, spas, terraces, and serene environments designed to help teens feel safe, supported, and engaged in recovery.
Polaris Teen Center's treatment focuses on substance use disorders, with particular emphasis on opioid and alcohol dependency alongside co-occurring mental health conditions.
